Offensively, Jairzinho Rozenstruik is an orthodox fighter who comes from a kickboxing background. He is primarily a counter fighter who patiently looks to land one of his vicious counter hooks, particularly the left hook. He has big, one punch knockout power in both of his hands. His low volume can lull his opponents to sleep and will often preclude a blitz and barrage of big hooks as he looks to finish his opponent. When he does hurt his opponents or gets them on their back foot and retreating, he does of good job of turning up his pressure and volume of punches looking for a finish. Naturally, with his kickboxing background, he attacks the legs of his opponent with heavy leg kicks, but not as much you’d expect.
Defensively, Jairzinho Rozenstruik could do a better job of moving his head in exchanges. He eats a lot of clean jabs to the face, often just relying on his durable chin to get him through the fight. In the clinch, far too often he allows his opponents to control him up against the cage without landing meaningful damage in return to deter them clinching up with him. He does a solid job of stopping takedowns in space, but in the clinch he can be tripped to the mat. Once on the mat, he does a good job of not accepting bad positions, ultimately using his power to explode back up to his feet at will and keeping the fight on the feet where he wants the fight to take place.
