Bears at Jaguars (Bears -7.5, Total 46.5)
It’s no shocker this line has now gone up with the results from Week 15. The Chicago Bears kept their 2020 season and wild card playoff hopes alive following their Week 14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings, and the Jacksonville Jaguars now take control of the #1 pick in the draft after Adam Gase did Adam Gase things in allowing the New York Jets to stun the Los Angeles Rams and seemingly lose Trevor Lawrence in the process. The Jaguars could easily mail it in here, and this Bears offense has actually been rolling under Mitchell Trubisky. The obvious play in this game will be the Bears in a teaser, and betting it now to get the Bears to -1 might be the right call before this line moves up potentially even higher. As of Monday night both DraftKings and FanDuel sports books have this line at -7.5, while BetOnline has it at -9. There won't be much time left until we loose the ability to get value on the teaser, so fire on it now while you can.
Panthers at Washington (Washington -2)
The Carolina Panthers are now officially now out of the 2020 playoff race. On the other side of the football, the Washington "Football" Team will likely get back both Alex Smith and Antonio Gibson for this Week 15 game. Washington will be motivated to win in this spot, in order to keep their NFC East division title hopes and subsequent playoff hopes alive. Carolina, on the other hand, will be looking towards the offseason, and that's whether Christian McCaffrey suits up or not (he currently has a legit shot to play and personally wants to get back on the field). This line - with the addition of Smith and Gibson - will fly north of -3, so bet it now or lay a bad number later. DraftKings (-2.5) and FanDuel (-1.5) are still both under the key number of 3 while BetOnline and some other offshore books have taken the game completely off the board. Washington's motivation and improvement with Smith back under center make this a no-brainer.
Eagles at Dallas (Dallas +1)
The Dallas Cowboys should be the favorite in this game, as their NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles' season is seemingly over following their loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14. The Eagles would need a few handfuls of miracles to occur in order to still get in, giving them roughly a 6% chance here. Philadelphia also has a ton of injuries to deal with now on defensive side, while the Cowboys are playing to save themselves from being an offseason punching bag. This line will likely shift to Dallas being a favorite sooner rather than later, and personally I would use Dallas in a 6.5 pt teaser wager and put them up to +7.5 before the plus #'s disappear. Tony Pollard getting another start here also gives me more confidence in the 'Boys.
