Week 15 Tournament Value Stack
Jimmy Garoppolo ($5,800) / Brandon Aiyuk ($6,300) / George Kittle ($7,500)
The San Francisco 49ers have a realistic shot to make the playoffs and the Atlanta Falcons defense simply isn’t very good. This could be just a moderately owned stack at best given the 49ers' penchant for running the ball at will, but given Elijah Mitchell's questionable tag for Week 15 it's one we can take advantage of even if he does suit up and play given the matchup. George Kittle and Deebo Samuel are likely to get most of the defensive attention from Atlanta's defense, leaving Brandon Aiyuk on an island to take advantage of some plus matchups. Kittle and Aiyuk they commanded 26 targets last week and San Francisco's target tree is very concentrated between those three guys in general compared to other NFL offenses. They could all very well be needed against the Falcons, and with the 49ers at home and a playoff-hungry crowd in tow, we look for big plays from this double stack with Deebo primarily remaining a rusher with limited targets in this offense. Kittle's price tag alone should keep his ownership in check.
Running Back Tournament Value Play
Devin Singletary ($5,000)
Hardly anyone will look at Devin Singletary in DFS this week and for good reason. The Bills' backfield is a mess right now and we're off yet another week of Buffalo seemingly not running the football outside of Josh Allen himself. Singletary did have more touches last week and had a ton of work in the receiving game to boot, and he’s also been taking good care of the football. With a plus rushing matchup vs. the Carolina Panthers and Allen dealing with a foot injury, we could indeed see extra work for Singletary in Week 15.
D/ST Value Play
Titans ($3,000)
This is a fair price for a defense that most won’t use, but the Tennessee Titans need to rely on their defense right now to help secure victories and Big Ben, despite being back at home in Week 15, is getting more and more beat up as the weeks ticks by. It’s a dart throw, sure, but Big Ben at times can also hand your defense free points and the Titans' pass rush has proved to be an elite unit at various points during the 2021 regular season. Tennessee ranks #9 in overall defensive grade by PFF, as well as #11 in tackling, #2 in coverage and #10 in special teams. This is an underrated unit facing a below-average offense here.
