We are back for another NFL version of CLE's Totals. We are coming off our third straight NFL cash with the Vikings Team Total last Sunday and looking to make it four straight. This week we are staying with our friends from Minnesota as they take on the Dallas Cowboys.
The Vikings come into this one 8-1 on the season after a dramatic 33-30 overtime win in Buffalo over the Bills. They currently sit atop the NFC North and are the 2 seed if the playoffs were to begin today. The Cowboys, on the other hand, come into this one with a 6-3 record following a disappointing 31-28 loss in Green Bay last week. After blowing a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter, they currently sit third in a tough NFC East.
I believe we see a lot of points Sunday afternoon. While the Cowboys started off the season slow offensively, since the return of Dak Prescott, they are averaging 33.6 points per game, and their games are averaging 55.6 points. The Vikings have been producing at a high level offensively all season. They are averaging 28 points per game in their last 7 games. They are also 3-0 to the over at home in their last three home games, averaging a total of 54.3 points. I expect these trends to continue Sunday, in what could be the game of the week.
